To Remove Autographicals™ from their Sheets
Place your sheet on a table or other flat surface and lift one corner slightly.
Starting with the largest section of each design piece, press down firmly
but gently with the soft part of the tip or side of your thumb or pointer.
If you have long fingernails, be careful not to damage your designs by pushing
on them with your nails. Push the piece through to start removing it and
gently move your finger around the circumference of the design. You can
gently pull out the designs (either towards the back or front) to remove
from the sheet. Once removed, make sure each piece lays completely flat
before placing on your vehicle, appliance or other surface. |

Applying Autographicals™ to Outside Surfaces
When placing Autographicals™ on your vehicle or any outside surface, take
your time! Make sure the surface is dry, clean and free from dirt, dust
and debris. It is recommended that vehicles be waxed a couple of days before.
All pieces should lie completely flat and be careful not to allow air pockets
to form under the design pieces. Please don’t put them on any surface with
ridges as they sit best on flat or slightly curved surfaces. If you want
to move a design once it’s affixed, don’t pull straight up; carefully lift
from the center, or largest part of each piece because you don’t want to
stretch them.
For new vehicles or newly painted vehicles, allow 90 days before
affixing Autographicals™. Your
car needs that time for its paint to cure properly. Please note: it is best to
apply your Autographicals to outside surfaces when the air temperature is temperate
but not extremely hot or cold. For best performance, it is recommended that they
be used between 0° F and 150° F. |
Cleaning
Autographicals™
are meant to be removed from your car or other outside surfaces at least once
a week for cleaning. Start by lifting the largest section of each piece, not the
corners. Once removed, wash and dry your vehicle and the AutoGraphicals™ designs
that were on it. It is best to use mild soapy water and a sponge. Since Autographicals™
are meant to be re-configured often, you can use this opportunity to try a new
design format!
Please note: Without proper care, the effects of leaving Autographicals™
in place for long periods of time could damage outside surfaces (including vehicles)
or cause the pieces to become tightly affixed.
Storage
It’s best to store your
Autographicals™ magnetic art designs in their shipping package so that the pieces remain flat. Please
do not store them with their magnetic surfaces touching. Be sure to remove your
Autographicals™ designs from your car before going through the car wash. We can’t
promise that the designs won’t come off when your car meets their brushes and
we’d hate for your designs to end up on the car wash floor!
